"Of all of the mulch and ground coverings available, why did u choose cedar? I'm curious."
I didn't know of any other stuff that can help me with moisture retention besides the crystals polymers. I don't have access to any water outside, so I have to haul all the water to the site which is...
Hey, has anyone used cedar chips on their outdoor plants?
By using cedar chips on top of the soil, to help retain alittle moisture, will it make the plant taste funny later? I'm losing too much moisture outside and I can't water them evey day.
I know of the polymers but all of my...
Hi,
I think I posted this question in the wrong forum, so I moved it here. I have to transplant my babies into bigger containers. All outdoor growing. I'm mixing my own soil. Anyway, I have to buy a bale of perlite and vermiculite but the perlite is coarse only. Does anyone know if coarse...
Hi all,
I have to transplant my babies into bigger containers. I'm mixing my own soil. Anyway, I have to buy a bale of perlite and vermiculite but the perlite is coarse only. Does anyone know if coarse perlite is going to be a problem? Is there a difference between coarse and the fine...
Has anyone heard of Gypsum (hydrated calcium sulfate) for lowing the pH in soil? I'm growing in Virginia. My plants are Diesel Elvis #5 and Crack Weed. The soil is regular potting soil but I amended it with perlite, vermiculite and sphaghum moss. The nukes I use are Jacks Classic All Purpose...
They are about 7 inches tall and I don't see any roots at all. I haven't checked the temperature of the water or the pH level. I bought a cloning machine that came with everything so I figured I was safe. Stupid me. I had 3 clones died in total out of 18. I replaced them with shorter ones...
Hi all,
I started clones on June 18th, I took them from the bottom of the plant, so the clones are pretty tall already. I bought a cloning machine that came with nutrients and vita grow. I followed the instructions to a tee. My question is did the clones have to be a certain height? Is...
Hi all,
I'm doing guerilla growing so I am concern about being seen. Can anyone tell me if you can use alittle cedar mulch to help retain some moisture? My problem is all of my plants (I have alot) are growing outside. I am lugging 7-10 gallons of water to them every day. I was thinking...
I had the same problem. My plants had too much water. I made sure and put them in direct sun (when the sun finally came out) to help with the problem. Luckly, plants bounced back. Looks like your plant is in the shade. Don't know how much sun it's getting.
Thanks to all. I think I stressed them out by moving them too many times. Will keep an extra eye on them. Hope it stops raining for at least a week so I can give them nutrients. Keep safe everyone!
