Can I safely top off these plants?

I also tied the plants down (in two stages for fear of injuring them) and it worked out well. To prevent this problem in the future, I plan to top the plants while in veg. and also work on my timing so that I have room to move them over to bloom sooner. Short and bushy would be better than...

Can I safely top off these plants?

Thanks. That's what I decided to try instead of messing with the plant hormones by topping them.

Can I safely top off these plants?

Two questions. Probably due to a combination of insufficient vegetative lighting and a delay in moving the plants over to the bloom area, I've now got several very tall leggy plants (well over 4 ft high) that are growing like they're on steroids. Adding in the height of the platform and the...

A veg. leaf problem and a Bloom leaf problem.

I've looked through the Forum posts and seen similar photos, but none that look exactly the same as these, so I'd appreciate any comments. 1. VEG. Grown from "Rocklock" seeds in soil and moved to veg. and into 5 gal. containers on 3/15/10. Grown under Lumigrow ES LED (blue, red and clear)...

Drooping leaf tips and spider mites?

Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate the input from forum members. The Floramite instructions also say to wait one month before respraying. I've ordered a neem based product to use at that time. I'm really scared of creating a "super" mite. When I mentioned the high humidity, I was...

Drooping leaf tips and spider mites?

Thanks for the replies. I sprayed with "FloramiteSC" and spread some ladybugs around the next day. I haven't noticed any sign of the mites since and the plants seem to have recovered. It was my own fault -- too much humidity and not enough ventilation and air movement. Lesson learned !!
