I decided to just go straight to 12/12. Looks like the girls loved the extra sleep.

I am getting ready to flip to flower this weekend and was going to give them 36 hours of darkness, before going to 12/12, Should I have fans going during dark period?

What does the 36 hours of darkness achieve?

I would just throw them in 12/12, I've never done a dark period prior to flower. I do put my plants in the dark for 48hrs, but thats at the end of their life.

Its supposed to kick em into flower quicker. I had it happen accidentally due to my electrics and it did SEEM to have that effect but it also seemed to send one of my girls that was already in flower to hermie soooo theres that info aswell lol
