So topping gives a better structure then as filming is a hit or miss. That's cleared that up then lol. So do you recommend to only top once???
I was thinking to top from the 6/5th node down to the fourth. Then when a transplant to their final pots, tie them down and top the new tops. Over a week before flipping them, top them a final time ??? Is this over kill or quote moderate topping ??? Thanks inadvanced

If you top only once, you get two main kolas if you top anywhere from node #4 on up... If you top only once between nodes 3 and 4, you get just what you would get with a fim, sometimes 4 or even 5 main kolas, but usually 3 and sometimes just 2, and again it takes forever to resolve this cut. If you wait for node 5 to just be rising up at the top, but cut way down below between nodes 2 and 3, you get 4 main kolas... usually a good start for quad or mainline training.
If you make additional cuts after these first cuts, dominance goes out the window and the plant will revert to just having one main kola and multiple secondaries.
