that why I questioned it. I am worried that with flushing with a extra 1./2 gallon I been told flush about 3 times what your pot size it, in other words, I use a 5 gallon planter so a Flush I would use aprox 15 gal to clean everything out. the FF sledgehammer instructions blew me away when I feed or water my plants I give them 1/2 gallon of food/water every 3-4 days. if I follow the FF instructions each plant will be flushed with 1 full gallon of water with 2 tsp of SH now apparently there is something in the yucca plant that breaks down salts and open water and airways for the plant is 1 gallon of water and 2 tsp of sledgehammer going to do the job that 15 gallons of water would do. The last time I thought I was smarter than Fox farm I proved I was a Idiot and Fox farm wasn't lol. if the sledge hammer flush is going to do the job it will make my job much easier so you recommend following the guide written by and for Fox farm or go by the paw paw method MORE IS ALWAYS BETTER AND VERY MANLY. i MIGHT BE WRONG BUT IM GONNA GUESS THE PAWPAW METHOD IS A DUMBASS METHOD LOL Bud I am so thankful you befriended me I have learned so much from you. so instead of this major 30 gal flush, I was planning an event. I will follow the rules FF established. BTW I smoked a little of my last harvest this batch has cured for 4 weeks so far any way I am sooooooo very high and happy

Is there a reason you want to do the extra flush right before the sledgehammer?
From what I understand it's beneficial for it to sit in your root zone.
I know you think that your improving things but I don't really think so.
Your flooding the root zone prior thus diluting your sledgehammer.
Also the effects of the water being drawn through the soil create a vacuum.
Anything you follow up with will naturally be drawn-out by the vacuum effects of the water.
But as I am not an expert with that product
I would refer the previous question to @Emilya
