Hi! Glad to hear you are moving closer to nature's way of doing things. Once you see the difference, you will never go back.
The first question about 209 is that you use it both in the rez and when you top water. It only needs to be applied the first 4 waterings and then once a week after that, but I believe in a little overkill in the preventative department. That is the point about 209, is it is best used as a preventative. Once you have a bug problem, it is too much for just 209.
All the other remedies will help of course, but I think that all you need is 203. 203 is pesticide level natural organics. If you have pests that have larvae, 203 as a drench will beat them. If you have flyers, 203 as a foliar is also highly effective. Hit gnats at two points in their lifecycle and soon you will not have a gnat problem.
Hope you get them soon. It is ridiculously easy when you have the right tools.

yeah I had bugs before but never like I did this last grow when you say over kill I think im overkilling I been searching natural prevention so I plant 2 garlic cloves about 1/2 under the soil on the seedlings Mexicans marigolds. an orange spiked with cloves Gnome Shamans doing the "smoke da bug" ancient dance I mean I got the works But im putting my trust in 203 209 and some DE 203 is the killer and 209 deterent right Ill check the bottle
