Authorities seized more than $100,000 worth of marijuana today from various locations throughout Knox County during an annual eradication project.

County sheriff’s detectives and the tactical response unit teamed up with agents from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation to recover 104 marijuana plants. They anticipate charging at least one person with misdemeanor drug charges.

Prior to today's operation, the sheriff’s department had seized more than 320 marijuana plants this year, acting primarily on tips from the public.
