Law enforcement authorities raided a marijuana-growing operation in
San Benito County, seizing about $32.2 million in pot and destroying
more than 8,000 plants.

The operation was next to a site where more than 76,000 plants were
taken in 1999, which is why authorities decided to check out the site
again.

The farm raided Wednesday stretched more than a mile, with marijuana
plants hidden behind native plants.
