My Friends,

Today marks the two-year anniversary of our illegal raid and arrest. Thanks
to you, we have successfully defended our right to grow 265 plants, the
Tahoe Task Force has been disbanded and arrests in Placer County have come
to a stop. Only the Placer D.A. seems determined to continue this war.

So what does one corrupt D.A. in Placer County have to do with you? Plenty!
Allow me to explain.

This drug war is driven by district attorneys. Nearly all of our senators
and congressmen are former district attorneys. District attorneys are the
ones who tell police they can violate people's rights and homes. District
attorneys are who twist the law and evidence to gain convictions.

So far, D.A.s have acted with impunity. They all believe they are immune
from any prosecution. There is zero accountability and as a result, a war
on all of us. Even with all the injustice of Rampart, nobody seems to
question how or why prosecutors were able to send so many innocent people to
jail. The time has come to hold D.A.s accountable for all the harm they do.

Commissioner Jay Cavanaugh, from the California State Pharmacy Board is now
heading up the committee to recall the Placer District Attorney, Bradford
Fenocchio. The President of the Placer County Tax League has agreed to
help. Everywhere we go in Placer County, people recognize us and go out of
their way to give us words of support.

Recalling a corrupt D.A. may be a complicated, difficult and problematic
undertaking, but it is something that has already captured the imagination
of the people and the press. In fact, the Auburn Journal has already run
two front page stories, with color photos of me and Fenocchio, just on the
threat that we MAY recall him. The Sac Bee has also covered the story.
Furthermore, Malcolm MacKinnon, Executive Editor of High Times is personally
coming out to interview me and Dr. Cavanaugh about the recall election.

On February 2nd, the rubber will meet the road. At 8:30 a.m. Judge John L.
Cosgrove will formally sentence me and we expect a big turn out of people
and media. FOX TV and MSNBC will be there, so will the Sacramento Bee,
Orange County Register and L.A. Times. Regardless of where you live, I urge
you to join us and make a statement to the media that we are on the
offensive and freedom is back in style.

Immediately after my sentencing, and in front of all the assembled media, we
plan on going next door to the D.A.'s office and serving Bradford Fenocchio
with his copies of the Recall Election papers.

Please join us. My attorneys tell me that there is a very good chance they
can get the judge to reduce both convictions to misdemeanors without
probation -- if we have a large turnout of supporters. Your attendance
could make the difference!

Let freedom grow,
