Air intake into tent

Hello quick question. My plants are now taking up a third of the space in my 1m1m1.8m tent. I've noticed a humid blast of smell when I open tent. Can I open a hole in the side to allow air from the room into tent or is it too dangerous for bugs. Tent is in spare room w black out blind window and door shut. I think I'll get an intake fan but in the interim..

You can open it up. If theres bugs in your tent or outside of your tent theyll find a way in regardless.

Id put an intake in because it sounds like there isnt enough co2 gettin to the room. Thats what the smell is and it could even be mold starting. Probably not but id get an intake pu in asap and an exhaust if you dont have one. Then crack a window if possible.

Thanks that's what I've done instinctively and tbh it's getting so cold id be impressed if bugs are still about. Air in fan a must then. I go as soon as oh is back from his stag in holland...
