Best time to clip clones from the mother?

ok, so i only have one question that has not been answered....
When is the best time to clip clones from the mother? when in Veg? or can you clone from a flowering mother?
I dont have a set mother yet and just put all my babies in to flowering last night...can i still clip from a good looking plant that has started flowering?

Best results when the mother is in Veg stage, some strains will still clone when going into their budding stage, but it's iffy. Give your mother a drink of water with a few drops of SuperThrive (or other rooting hormone, B1) in it before you take the cuttings...if you have some, if not then at least give them a drink of plain water a few hours prior to taking cuttings.
