Caterpillars gotten to water leaves?

Not sure what would be causing this leaf damage.
Currently battling a minor mite issue and can't imagine spider mites being the cause of this damage.
Pictures are the same strain, same age. They're healthy... I hope. For germination of these plants starting 3/2 they seem to be doing very well. Any insight to the damage would be appreciated.

Not sure what little critter did that, could be a butterfly, lady bug or any flying animal.. lol

Maybe its a deer or a cow or a fly pig.. lol

IDK try maybe putting a camera towards the plants and see if ya catch whats doing it.

Whatever it is ... it must lik getting a little buzz going... lol
