An intergovernmental team consisting of staff from the mayor's office, city council members and the city attorney plans to draft zoning regulations for growing, processing and dispensing medical cannabis in Seattle.
A proposed ordinance would limit the "off-site impact of larger-scale cannabis-related activity," city officials said Monday. The goal of the ordinance would be to limit cannabis exposure in single family and multi-family residential zones, neighborhood commercial zones, Pioneer Square, the International District Mixed and other downtown neighborhoods.
