Senate bill 90, nicknamed "Rylie's Law", was signed into law Tuesday by Delaware Governor Jack Markell.

The bill will add to the list of debilitating medical conditions and allow doctors to prescribe children under the age of 18 medical marijuana based-oils.

It's named after Rylie Maedler, a nine-year-old girl Rehoboth Beach, who once had a bone tumor removed from her face. Following her surgery, she began to suffer from seizures.

According to an official from the Governor's office, this law will effect immediately and "It will provide for the availability of under 18 registry identification cards for medical marijuana oil, which does not contain enough "active ingredient" to get someone high, and will help in the treatment of illnesses such as intractable epilepsy, dystonia, and other enumerated conditions."
