Hi all, there's this product called Spong Ease. Its 100% coconut fiber. Can I use this as a medium to my hydroponics system? Or maybe mix it with something else?

Welcome to 420.... Coco is not the same as soil.... for coco grows you need to rinse and precharge it with cal mag. Coco is inert, there are zero nutrients in there to sustain a plant so it must be bottle fed nutes. Coco is low tech drain to waste hydro so hydro rules apply, adjust ph to 5.8. Coco plants need low dose nutes (1/4 strength) every day and the media cannot be allowed to dry out...
Also yes coco can be mixed with soil but that changes everything I said above and then it’s treated as soilless grow. Not familiar with sponge ease but heck I don’t grow in coco anyway. More will jump in later hopefully
