How Do I End Up With Plants Like THIS?

How do I grow gargantuan plants like this? The first picture is from Eric Sligh's magazine, and the second two are from Dirtfarmer's G-13 grow. He says he just got lucky with a really hardy strain, but I would love to have some monstrous plants.

Understood. I want to move everything outdoors, but I can't afford the risk right now. I definitely qualify for a cannabis card, but I'm afraid of what kind of effect it could have on work. Employers can still discriminate against patients. I'd rather feel like crap all the time and have a job than be medicated and not be able to support my family.
