How to harvest seeds

I've been growing now for a while and have had some nice harvest. For the first time I produced a female plant that had a few seeds maybee 20 all in all
some where green and clearly inmature but I did get a few that looked brown with a nice pattern on them. I'm thinking great Ill put them in germ state, no go its been almost 9 days and they have not poped can you give me any insite on how and when to harvest seeds from female plant.

Dry them normally, cure them normally. And harvest the seeds as you break up the MJ, just like the seeds you get from a bag of commercial grade regs. That seems to work fine, I don't know of any special procedures that need to be made. my current grow is from bag seed, that got from a bag of commercial.

Thanks, the only thing I can think of, they may not of been dried long enough.

In order to get the best germination rate, it's also a good idea to put them in cool, dry place for a month or two to simulate dormancy in winter.

The refrigerator works well for this, and also for storing them long-term.
