Indoor plant taken outside for a sunny day?

I'm growing indoor and have a couple plants out back. I was wondering if it would be okay to let my indoor plant sit outside and enjoy the real sun (given ideal outdoor temperature/time/sun quality) My inclination is that you simply cannot compete with the suns natural energy, no light can imitate its wavelengths!

Has anyone had experience with this? an indoor plant, taken out on a beautiful day to soak the natural rays?

You're right about the sun. Nothing compares to it. It's cool to take it outside, but you risk bringing pests and insects into your plant and grow room

It's either an indoor or outdoor grow, not both. Unless you're in a greenhouse.

I don't recommend it.
