Is it safe to defoliate within 10 days since switching to flowering?

I’m 10 days in since switching to 12/12 but these leaves have had a SUPER growth since then and there is a lot of shading happening at the moment......they’re as bushy as they were during vegetative and it’s only been 10 days.

Is it safe to defoliate again now or should I wait till the 3rd week of flowering?

It's not safe to defoliate at any time if you aren't a very experienced grower. If you're still new try some very very low-stress training like gently tying down, steaking a few stems away from other stems to let light into the canopy. Gently bending, spreading the plant's main stems away from other main stems to once again let more light in, get some cheap supplemental under lighting and make sure your plants have plenty of room and aren't competing with each other.
