The Kalkaska Village Council could soon tweak its medical marijuana ordinance, just about four months after the guidelines were adopted.
Council members approved the adoption of not one, but two, ordinances to help deal with the issue of both individual and commercial medical marijuana growers in November 2015. That included zoning guidelines to oversee and regulate the placement and operation of medical marijuana dispensaries, and a second, lengthy regulation and licensing ordinance.
"I know we just adopted it," said village manager Scott Yost. "But, now, we can already see where there needs to be a couple of changes."
