Light firing issue

I have a problem i just can't figure out. I moved my mother tent to a new area. Plugged in my 1000 watt MH setup and the bulb fires for like 3 seconds and then shuts off. No matter what I do thats all that happens. I have changed bulbs and ballasts and this is all that happens no matter what I do. The light has it's own outlet and breaker. 110 volts and 20 amp breaker.
Any ideas??

You've tried different ballasts and bulbs what about the light socket?

I have my T5 and fan running on the same circut and they have no issue running at all.

But I'm talking about the lamp socket that is in the reflector. It could be the mogul socket that you screw the bulb in is faulty?

Tried that as well. Same thing with a different hood too

Hmm, my guess would be the bulb. Are the bulbs you tried both the same brand, ballasts too? Does it do this everyone in the house, did you test in a kitchen or bathroom to compare?

yeah i tried different brands of bulbs and that didn't make a difference.

going to change the electrical outlet in the wall and see if that helps

Seems i have 2 bad MH bulbs, one of each brand i guess. They work in other hoods but not the hood in the mother tent. I installed a brand new bulb and she popped on. Odd thing is the bulbs work in other hoods. i don't get it.

You're not trying to run a lower wattage bulb in a 1000w ballast or anything right?

I've had clients who tried running a 600w bulb (with digital ballast set to 600w) in a 1000w ballast and they had the same issue you described.

every bulb I own is for a 1000 watt hood
