Little Help

Hey just had a couple questions... I have a metal halide balast and a 400 watt bulb. Iv germinated the seeds and put them in peat pucks. Just wondering how far away i should put the light and how they will take the start growing? Im growing in a closet.

Seedlings I would suggest 3ft then slowly drop to 18 inches by week two.

thanks...how long should i leave the light at 18 inches and should i do 18/6. I have a reflector on the bulb so the light is quite concentrated. do i bring the light to a certain height when they sprout?

Keep the light 18" away as the plant grows... if the plant grows 4" then raise the light 4" - get it? If it's really hot at the top of your plants you can always raise it a bit more. 18" is just a general number.

You can use either 18/6 or 24hrs straight light. Everyone has their own preference, and both are fine. Just make sure they stay on the same cycle until you are ready to flower.
