A grow op has been taken down in West Kelowna.
A drug search warrant was executed by West Kelowna RCMP on September 24 just after 1:30 p.m. at a residence in the 2200 block of Majoros Road.
Constable Steve Holmes says inside, police located a marijuana grow operation consisting of over 500 plants in various stages of growth.
"Also located was a hydro electric bypass used for illegally diverting electricity for the growing operation," says Holmes.
He says the owner of the residence was not at home and the investigation is ongoing.
"Charges of production of a controlled substance and theft of electricity will be recommended to those responsible for the grow op, once they are located."
