Marijuana Therapy For Veterans With PTSD

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) afflicts at least twenty thousand
U.S. veterans. There is no known cure for PTSD. Common treatments include counseling and sedating drugs. They are just a stop gap treatment until a real remedy is found. Marijuana Therapy is that remedy! It definitely helps the symptoms of PTSD, and over a long course of treatment, may even cure it. But that doesn't matter to the U.S. Government. With severe emotional trauma, the brain region called the amyglia becomes destabilized. Its function of filtering out past horrible memories does not work. The person keeps reliving the horror over and over again. Amazingly, fortunately and definitely, Marijuana Therapy restores balance to the amyglia. Within this part of the brain, there are many cannabinoid receptors which can be restarted through the cannabinoid compounds (like THC) in marijuana. For some reason, with the shock of the horrific event, the natural brain cannabinoids become ineffective — or are not produced in sufficient quantity — or maybe the receptors themselves become dysfunctional. So far the scientists do not have that answer. But it is proven that the (cannabis/marijuana) plant cannabinoids restore the functioning of the amyglia!!!!! which then can do its job of filtering out the emotions of the past horrific event. This is the experience of the thousands of veterans suffering from PTSD who attest to the relief that Marijuana Therapy imparts to them!!! The truth of this wonderful and safe ancient remedial plant for PTSD first began to surface with the Vietnam Vets. But the government turned the same deaf ear to those veterans then as now. It will not even address the issue. As a matter of fact, the government only recently admitted there is such a thing as Post Traumatic Stress! caused by the horrors of war.

For everyone who suffers from PTSD — for whatever reason — Marijuana Therapy has been shown to be very effective and safe. Not like the talking therapies which have a dismal record of helping trauma victims, and nothing like the dangerous, numbing, and addictive, but legal drugs that cost a fortune and deaden one's mind. BTW: it just so happens, that starting in 2004, the Israeli army began to conduct controlled studies with Marijuana Therapy for PTSD. They heard tell from their soldiers that it worked. Preliminary findings actually resulted in government-issue THC for their soldiers. That's right!! Israeli soldiers are given THC as part of their rations!
