PC Fan Carbon Filter Discussions

Ok heres a few pics of the filter a i made early for testing.

what yall think? if there was not enough suction the pc fan would push nearly zero air, fans seems to be pushing about half of its capability so id say the filter works.

Also i put a Large plastic bag under the filter, about a 3 cubic ft bag within seconds the fan had suck all the air out of the bag thru the filter.

Lol nice try though, but I don't think PC fans can cut it when trying to scrub, unless yur gonna use a Delta fan with high CFM and don't mind the squealing sound. I tried to attach a Panaflo 103 cfm on a Phresh 4x8 rated at 150cfm and I'd say it was only pushing half like 50 cfm. Think of getting an inline fan instead.

any updates on the efficiency of your scrubber, i have a small 3x3x2 ft flower room for seeding and this would work great for that.

p.s i like you bag test very clever way to test cfm, wonder if you could apply a math formula to that to actually time the test and calculate cfm based on the volume of the bag.
