Seed not opening

Any body have any idea what would cause a seed not to open up? I'd post a picture but I keep getting an error

Strain- Green Crack
Medium-FoxFarm Ocean Forrest, Happy Frog and perlite mix
Light- 300w LED air cooled
Ph runoff is 6.6
In a solo cup with holes poked for drainage

I germinated it in the soil and it popped up 4 days ago. The seed casing was still on it so I carefully removed it. Now it's just a little stem with a little ball on top of it. Soil is moist not wet. Any ideas on what is going on?

If the helmet came off clean ie no plant material with it, you should be fine.
