Can top buds be harvested before the rest of the plant ? some of the top buds on my plant are ready they have a good amount of amber trikes an I don't want too much more, but her lower buds are still mostly clear

Yes.. lots of people grow with selective harvesting as their end move, especially in limited space situations or untrained plant situations. The same applies to fruits and vegetables. I often harvest my green peppers in batches, taking the top ones first then waiting a few days/weeks for the next.

Now I'm not sure, I'm sitting looking g at her an I swear she's bigger than yesterday. those 7 big buds keep getting bigger, yep I'm greedy. She's already hermieing and if I lope off her big buds it may make the herming go rampant. Confused

As others have said, yes. I have harvested the whole top half of a plant grown outside and left the lower part to mature further for another week or two.
