how much damage will be done to end product if i cut and place plants in large trash bags to move them from one place to another after chop.

As long as you don't pack them too tight you will be fine. Leave room for air, or poke some small holes in the bag.back in the day I use to use old clean bed sheets.

if i ever walked anywhere with a trashbag full of my buds with holes poked in the bag the entire town wqould smell me coming.
