Grants Pass, OR. - A woman seen frequently exercising her right to free speech in downtown Grants Pass -- has been arrested for handing out cookies containing marijuana.
The woman, identified as Rycke Anne Brown, is seen most Sundays at the corner of Sixth and 'G' streets. She holds signs that read "End the War on Drugs" and "Legalize Freedom of Medicine" while dancing to music, smiling and handing out literature.
However four people have been identified as receiving marijuana cookies one recent day in March.
According to police, one of the recipients was a 15-year-old girl and one woman was seven months pregnant. Both said they did not know that the cookies contained marijuana.
Rycke brown has been arrested and is lodged in the Josephine County Jail.
