Using dolomite lime

Is peletetized dolomite lime bad for a plant ?
im going to soak water in a jar with the lime and let filter the lime out and use only the water to de-acidify some peat moss

I doubt it is "bad" for the plant. Pulverized is better as in its a super fine powder and more available to sweeten the soil. If the pellets are powdery then you will got some benefit. Can you break it up your self? put in a thick paper bag and smash with a hammer? I havent dealt with pellets so not sure how hard they are to break up. Think I read somewhere someone used an old coffee bean grinder to pulverize the pellets.
