I looked at some examples of vacuum cleaners on the net, and from what I can tell they move air well within the rating of even a small carbon filter. And that is at full power, in my case I can use only a fraction of that. We're talking about very rudimentary physics but it's difficult to say...
Re: Cloning vs. purchased seeds vs. homegrown seeds (aka. the dilemma with male plant
I appreciate the warnings but I still believe this is something I'd want to give a try some time after I finish my first crop. Not that I intend to breed anything, I just want to be self-reliant when it comes...
1200 watts says mine. I'd go with that. It also has a know where you can steplessly adjust the power from almost nothing to full. At minimum it doesn't make much more noise then my desktop computer.
I think I'll give this a try after all.
We all know (about) grow tents. What I often don't see when I browse them on the net is the maximum recommended power output for light(s) inside. Is there some thumb rule we can calculate this with or what?
Had a flash when I woke up an hour ago. What of I would buy only the carbon filter and fit it to my vacuum cleaner? My common sense says it could work since they evidently sell carbon filters specifically for vacuum cleaners. Only possible problem could be the electric motor, since it's not...
On the other hand, LEDs are not quite the best possible for 420 growing are they? I was adviced to go straight for a HPS with an optional MH.
Then again, do LEDs perform when used with plasma discharge lamps to boost the red spectrum?
I'm a beginner myself, but your plants looks VERY small if that picture is fresh. My babies went past that stage during week 1. They too are planted at mid-January (all 5 had sprouted at 15th) and they look by now totally different from yours.
Maybe the experts can tell if it's because I have a...
I read here that the cannabis plants grow the most during the early second half of their lifetime. I was under the impression, however, that the veg stage was the most important regarding how big they finally grow (the same source also says to take clones during last weeks of flower). Sounds a...
I'm merely a beginner myself, but I'm under the impression Canna Terra is the default go-to brand for 420.
When it comes to this, then I'm told generally what you save in soil, nutrients, lighting, whatever, is very much off from your yield. You can keep costs down but you'd (probably) be better...
I heard in a video at Youtube that THC content can drop during flowering if you postpone harvest too much. Is this true? I was under the impression the plant would die at the very end of flowering, leaving maxed out buds.
Re: Cloning vs. purchased seeds vs. homegrown seeds (aka. the dilemma with male plant
Aa ok. Didn't realize pollen was THAT hard to control, just assumed it was enough to mate the plants in a tent and put a working air filter on the exhaust fan.
