Cloning is easier than it seems. I just tried my first time a couple weeks ago and 27 out of 30 made it and all I used was soil water and rooting hormone. You could clone after fimming I'm sure, you'd just have to wait a little while between for the plant to recover.

I would top it and try and clone it if you have the room and supplies! Seeds are too expensive.

Hey doc I just ordered my kit and I had a question. Since I'm using CFLs and growing small plants, should I go easy on the rock powders so I don't waste?

So all of my clones have rooted and growing! I ordered a high brix kit today, this should bring my clones in soil to the next level! My veggie garden is going to be happy too.
