Hanna makes a good quaility ph meter..I have a hanna ph/ppm combo meter that works very good only thing i don't like about it is the ppm reading limit is only 2000 and I have reached this limit at about 80% veg nutes so you can't really rely on the ppm to monitor and judge how much of the nutes...

I would agree with H A Your number 7 does look like it ready for 1/4 strength nutes as it looks like some of your lower leaves a starting to yellow.
