Hello everyone!
I decided to do a journal here because this place is so welcoming and I’m digging this site! Been growing on and off since 1983. Old high times mags really made the weed wanderlust in me get hooked!
I’m experienced in growing however that’s not to say this whole grow is going to be me on autopilot! I might screw this whole thing up I don’t know!
Did hydro back in the medical dispensary days when we could be a caregiver and sell overage to them and started messing with organic for some of my people that asked for it.
When rec came in I bailed out. I’m back because, just because!

On with the show!

So, I guess you are attempting an organic grow. Do you know that most of your amendments are not going to get broken down in time to supply the needs of this grow? What is your base soil? After adding amendments you normally want to compost that soil to bake all that good stuff in, otherwise you are likely to burn the plants with some of them and others simply won't be available to the plants. I like your idea, but you seem to be putting the cart before the horse here. Look into creating a proper supersoil, and while you are working on that for the next 3 months, pick up a bag of ready made supersoil such as sohum or purple cow, and grow in that this time. With your recharge to supply microbes once a week, that should work just fine for you. Your amendments aren't a total loss on this first run either... look into making veg or bloom spikes with combinations of what you have, and you can make thin layers of some of these things as you build up your containers, but be careful, because raw nutrients can really go wrong fast if you put too much in there. Do you have a recipe that you are intending to follow?

I reuse and amend my soil. I make airlift teas, foliar feed and top dress depending on the plants needs. My base soil is from promix bx? Worm castings, compost, used hydroton, perlite maybe some used FF no telling what potting soil.
I’m running a modified coots mix indoor and build a soil mix in the greenhouse outdoor.
These are the some of the plants as of today the seed pics were from march 20th. I did give them a epsom salt drink and a few teas since transplant and some si.

You got this then! :green_heart:

I would like to apologize for the caps in the description’s it was a lazy cut and paste.
In the description I also forgot the strain Barefoot Dr it’s a Harlequin X Sunshine daydream by Bodhi
I also failed to mention the Bodhi strain’s are regular seeds. My S1 green crack and the Gorilla breath S1 are feminized and the bagseed?

First plant showed sex today the 1 of 2 Dream beaver plants I’m running. We have a boy!
759B79D9-C3EB-490D-992B-40D40982A00C.jpeg

We are at week 5 or so in veg so all them should start showing sex soon.
Hopefully the other DB is a female so I can F2 some seeds!
Here’s the plan, we have no plan! The end goal is to grow stellar weed, make viable seeds, collect and store pollen and maybe keep some moms.

I’m not worrying about pollen yet, I just need some more room lol! I was hoping they would show sex before the next up pot! Up potting and clones today.
I cut some clones on 420 however I’m starting to get mushy stems on the ends of them because I didn’t turn the air stones on in the cloner. Changed the water out and I added coconut powder, aloa vera powder and recharge back in.
The clones on 420

I’m going to see if they look any better today if not they get composted! Hopefully everyone has a great Sunday!

Clones look fine today, root bumps are showing and a few roots also starting to callus up on the cut. The woody stems were scraped hence the browning. Be easy on me lol it’s a new cloner and I’m still trying to get my groove back!

“We’re gonna need a bigger boat!” To be honest I thought I would have killed more of them off by now! Soooo now we’re doing the ol hump, marry, kill thing or just order more tents and lights like I did. A month ago I told myself “self we’re not doing indoor again!” Why does wisdom come after hindsight? I just keep telling myself we’re testing for outdoor :high-five:

And some clones I’m messing around with. I don’t think it matters which way you clone as long as you keep your booger hookers off them…

The one one the left is starting to frost up first and of course the structure is lanky, noids far apart and stretching like hell in flower…

We’re calling this tent second chance… I thought these plants were male so I did the same to them as the males. I topped them then later I cut them down to 4 or 5 noids after they grew into the light…

While these ladies only got pollen from the two males, their clones both male and females will be a open pollination. That will be a strict F2 seed run all 9 crammed in a tent… Seed jail sucks too!!!

To recap: I got 4 girls and 5 boys out of the ssdd seeds to F2. I picked 1 male to pollinate the 4 females this round. All males were cloned, milked for pollen as a back up… As all of that will be part of the open pollination of the ssdd to live on.

This is the ssdd plant named ? So we have 1,9,4,? As our females.
