20 Strains from Seed to Harvest

So for those of you who suck at cloning you might have some interest in my search to prefect my cloning. Gotten some equipment to help monitor and ensure proper calibration.

My cloners I am using for this one are igloo coolers that have been turned into cloners. One is a 24 hole and second is a 45 hole. They hold temps well and with the new timers they lose a lot of heat build up that I was battling. My first goal is to test tempratures out so I ran the small one at 75 - 85 degrees with the median temp being 80.5. The second one the larger and better insulated one I ran from 65 - 75 degrees with median on this one hanging around 68. I am running with clonex solution at 300 ppm, and my ph setting around 6.0. I started with 0 ppm R/O DI. I choose to go a tiny bit high on my ph as I measured it at 75 degrees and as temps go down so will the ph slightly.
So I took 24 clones 3 different varieties and split them in half placing 12 in one and 12 in the other and trying my best to match sizes and the like.

Currently 5 days in and the results are

High temp 2 of 12 left alive after 5 days completed
Lower temp 2 of 12 looking a little wilted and other 10 look fresh and crisp still

I would have to say that there is a significant results. So a 16% alive rate on one and the other at 84%.

Side note I use two liters to keep my cooler in the low 60's and takes a total of three 2L a day to keep the temps cool I typically drop 2 in before bed and one before heading into work and the temps never get above 74. The cooler + timer keep the water temps stabilsh only rising .5 degree an hour and each two liter typically drops the temp of around 6 gallons after 15 mins of emersion time down 5 degrees. So I get a temp fluctuation of 12 degrees in a day and a drop of 15 degrees a day so it does have a little bit of time you can play with to maintain temps in a certain range.

The temperature in my Aeroponic Fog Cloner are high as well but I am able to make incredible roots in the cloner. I have wondered if the temperature was lower in my Aeroponic Fog Cloner if the cuttings would root faster or slower.

Well my growth of clones with roots in the low temp are looking much better so far it seems that keeping under 70 seems to show better results but need a lot more numbers and trials before I can say that as fact. Lost 2 in the low temp today but I did forget to drop a 2L in so temps were up to 80 when I got home, .... so that messes with #'s slightly. But with 8 (6 are 9 months old) mothers I can afford to have a low success rate but would much prefer to get it up above 80%.

Next project on the books is two different flowing systems to see which if either I like. Going to build a smaller NFT and I have a few RWC tubes. Have the clones ready for these just need a little time to get them going so may skip a week on my perpetual grow. Just building up large roots systems while they kinda hang out in the cloner.

Well was down for almost two weeks with a total cornea chemical abrasion which kept me from even looking at my girls in the light impossible. Today was first chance I have had to get into the grow room. Was in the process of moving and building them a new room. Better insulated with a 12k btu ac to keep my temps in check currently running on the high at 81 and its 100 plus outside. So currently running two tents an 8x5 flower and 4x4 mother. Not much happening in the flower tent in the process of building a 4" NFT system. But have 6 girls that are about 5 weeks old that I flowered in my least fav cloner. The roots are fat as can be and just been using a Advanced Nutrient PH perfect conniser at full strength. And to be honest have not checked the ph once and u can give me your opion on these girls as they started out less then 6" in height strait from clone to flower.

The girls are fattening up nicely Must say HUGE fan of advanced nutrient ph perfect. I have done 0 ph adjustments the entire grow. This is just my cloner with 6 strait from clone 2 are tiny got blocked out all you can see is the 4.

Is this grow still alive?

If so, please update us with some pictures and info.

How about posting a 420 Strain Review?
