I run my light cycle 6hour on 2 hours off for total of 18 on 6 off I like this grow schedule better than other veg light schedule any opions or anyone else heard about this

24-0 is the best imo, but you have to keep the environment in check. More light time = bigger plants. They dont need "rest" that is a myth, unless you can't control your environment. 85 degrees and 40% humidity is not good for 24-0. This is why plants appear "tired" towards the end of a light cycle. The only advantage to less than 24 hrs of light is to save money on electricity. (Or to give the plant a break if growing in suboptimal conditions.

Interesting thought, I’m an 18/6 guy but full time, no cycling on/off.

So what you’re doing is more like HIIT training for plants, high intensity followed by short periods of rest in between. What are the differences you have noticed between this and normal 18/6 or 24/0? (Node spacing, growth, etc.)

Any training or trimming done on them or are they au naturale?

Some pretty tight node spacing, what type of lighting and height?

Nutrients? Looks like you just answered that.

Sorry for the questions, just wanting to know what else you have going on with your grow to weed out any outside influences on what we’re seeing.

Everything looks happy and healthy, nice plants to be proud of. :thumb:

To be honest I got some clone from club that looked like they where going into flower I did 24 hours of light and read about 6 hours on 2 off allow the plant rest has all kinds of benefits so I figure why not try it it seem to make sense I'm still 18 on 6 off just split differently as far as difference in nodes growth I have like 9 strains they all growing difference I got some rapid growth tho I belive and my nepali pink clone is growing more like a seedling with close nodes so is vanilla frosting but could be genetics also my poochie papaya is grown crazy close nodes even had a strong shoot come out of soil on both papaya plant I'm going to cut them for clones but the bottom side shoot started under dirt just a dot of green new life turned into a arm on both papaya plant really I just seen rigorous growth and rapid healing I cut clones with no stress to some young plants I broke a plant a Gmo X Strawnana then it was about 3 wks from see all that was left the two beginning leave that pop up when sprout well it grew all big 15 heads and it has no main top like I said it was top accidentally when young all down to first leave cannibus plant when sprouts so I now belive there may be all of undiscovered benefits plus I can be in my grown all the time it seems lol

GMOXSTRAWNANA start from first 2 sprout leaves
