Amnesia In Promix - General Organics

Sup people, long time no see. I've got a new grow going in progress with 2 fem Amnesias from Super Strains. You'll see a Fini auto in a couple pics that I ran to get a feel for soiless.

Growing in a 2.5ft by 2ft gorilla grow tent. 4 in fan, and former sponsor 300w led. I plan to switch to hips/mh before flowering. I'll need the extra heat.

Hey bigjack. Can't wait to see how this turns out. Have you checked the leaves for tiny little russet or broad mites? It looks like some of your plants are showing evidence of them. I'm dealing with them right now. Mostly on my tomatoes, but they are a couple of my cannabis plants too.

I was barely able to see them with a 60x loupe. So you will need at least that amount of magnification. There really is no other way to tell. They are about 1/10th the size of a spider mite. The loupes are fairly inexpensive, but if you decide to get one on the internet where it's going to take a few days to get to you, I would suggest getting some diatomaceous earth (like tonight or tomorrow if you can) and sprinkling it on the leaves and stems (esp new growth). It's usually a couple of bucks for a bag that will last you many applications (and it's handy to have around for other pest problems too). If you find out that it's not russets, then do a little dance to gods and you just have an extra bag of DE in case anything else happens. If you find out that it IS russets then keep applying the DE every four or five days for the better part of a month and you should be rid of them. Cheers.

Little update, they continue to grow and I've decided to switch to 400watt hps for the extra heat. It was barely getting to 70 in there. However I've decided I have mites andwill be going with the nuclear option, Avid and neem. I got a lot of room with the 7ft tent so I'll probably veg until twice this size.

Getting impatient so I may flip soon. Sprayed the plants with Avid twice. I'll probably spray one more time and then flip. I'll spray neem 3 times and call it good enough. I got to figure out the heat situation since it's topping out at 72F.

Week and a half into 12/12 and the stretch is on! I'm feeding a mix of flowering and veg nutes since I want them to stretch out as much as possible. I'll start need tomorrow. They wilted pretty bad over thanks giving but I only lost a couple handfuls of leaves off the bottom so no real loss. I'll be more careful moving forward.
