Autoflower help

My buddy gave me this auto says it's Slurricane strain grown from a clone outdoors he brought it to me looking like this in my opinion it's ready to harvest but it seems to have a bunch of Browning bud and white mold growth I've cought a few baby caterpillars (I think that's what they are) it looks like it hasn't been watered in days as well pistils are browned and oranged gone into the bud any advice would be very appreciated

t be smoked. Please don't smoke it . Bad for your lungs! Bud washing is important now too!

Check it out. It's easy'ish and not too costly and you'll be smoking safe weed. It kills the mold and washes any other unwanted stuff away. Folks say it drys and cures better when washed.

It almost appears that you are under going revegetation. You said it is maybe a clone from an auto flowering plant? How long have you been growing it and when did you notice it start flowering/how long has it been flowering?

It was given to me in this state I haven't the slightest clue and do to unforeseen circumstances I cannot ask how long they've been flowering for yes it is a clone auto and it does look like some re-veg I believe it was without water for about 5 days so I was told

I would like to say that the harvest window was maybe missed, bud rot and what not, and the plant appears to be revegging. How many worth while buds do you see on the plant? I’m not sure what happens if a cloned auto is reveged, if you can get it to flower again or not.

There are a few good looking nugs my buddy asked and found out that it's basically worthless cause of the mold idk what to do

Like @stoneotter said do not smoke those buds with mold or rot. It’s only going to harm you. I would remove anything with mold or rot and harvest the buds you think are good when they have milky and a few amber trichomes. Then if there is any of the plant left I’d let it grow and see what happens, if it keeps revegging or not.

Cool I think I'll wait a day or so and see what happens before I do that

Thank you for the awesome knowledge my friend I will be doing this and as for the mold and bud rot should I clip it off the brown looking bud or leave it or clip the mold buds. I just noticed some of the nice green nugs have some white shit between the nuggs on the stem don't know if it's mold or one of these bugs one nugs seemed to have a silky web on the stem once pulled apart

I had good luck taking my trimming scissors and taking the rot out carefully one nug at a time, then spraying the rest of it with water to remove the rest of the nasty there. Those moths are making families there and their poop is making the rot scenario. If they keep coming I use Monterey Bt Liquid Concentrate. It's a bacterial moth deterrent and I've used it in flower before with good results. Another reason to wash bud. I don't believe it's a danger at all to us and keeps the bud for us but I wash it off anyway.

Are you sure that is a cloned autoflower? I was told by alot of other growers, autos are not good for cloning. The clones push inti flower before they get any good veg time in. The pics ive seen of auto clones, are even smaller than a photo period clone when the buds are mature. Not tryin to sound like a know it all or knock your plant

Yep. Some of that might be due to the extreme stress and punishment it has been subjected to, but that's a plant that's reverting to the growth phase.

Are you sure that he's actually your buddy, lol? Because he's lying to you. Slurricane is a photoperiodic strain, so it's either something else or it's not an autoflowering plant.

That sucks. Caterpillar shit makes for an almost perfect environment for the organisms that cause rot/mold, and when that sh!t happens to be in and around your buds, well...

I hope you don't have that thing parked anywhere near any plants that you care about. If it were me, I'd make your "buddy" come and get it. I'd also kick his arse, lol.

The pistils could be withering due to the health of the plant. That happens when flowers die. It seems awfully early for the buds on a photoperiodic plant grown outside to be anywhere near mature at this time of year (unless you're in the tropics where the day/night lengths are much closer to 12 hours year-round, or somewhere in the Southern hemisphere).

EDIT: It wasn't until I posted this that I realized I was replying to month-old posts. My fault; I have vision issues, zoom the text, and generally only squint at the actual bodies of the posts, not the date/member information. By the way, what did you end up doing with/to the plant? Dispose of it? Or (somehow) manage to save it?

Oh it's all good man I was thinking of posting an update lol I did have it by my plants for the fist day till I realized that it should have been thrown in the trash right away lmao but he cleaned it all up and took all the rot/mold off and now she is vegging got some small pistil development I think she is doing good I'll post some pics when I get back from the dispensary
