Roots started showing in Rockwool 11 days from cutting. On the 16th day I removed dome cover and within a half hour 3 plants started to wilt. I sprayed foliage, covered and place back in cloning area. On day 19 I transferred all 8 clones (100% success) to 6 - 1 gallon containers, with two plants in each center container.

I designed a better system to hold my containers and help with catching run off during watering and any flushing. Looking forward to this second grow as I feel comfortable with the knowledge I retained during my learning period. The most exciting part is the unknown seed produced a stinking pineapple scented bud producing an awesome high better than anything I have bought in the last year. I now know why I saved the seeds back on 4th of July on 2010…

My first grow is over and the cured buds are awesome and looking forward to a much better second grow and thanks for any fans that are interested in my second grow.

Re: BornTo420 / Grow #2, January 1, 2012

HEY NOW 420 friends, it's Saturday AM here and after enjoying a nice WAKE & BAKE session with a bud from my first grow, I took some pictures of the ladies just 5 days since transplanting. The stem growth along with lots of sprouts is making me very happy. Pot #4 is a 4" tall clone and has 14 sprouts and some have two sprouts at one fan leaf location.:thumb:.

Fan leafs are also turning a nice green too...

FYI: For Marijuana to prove fatal, you would need to smoke 1,500 lbs (WITHIN) 15 minutes and any resulting death would be from asphyxiation not the THC! Try that with YOUR GOVERNMENT APPROVED (taxed) alcohol!

Here are a few images over the last 3 weeks of vegetation on my second grow. Wow what a difference using the proper water, ph, ppm and nutrients. The plants are just 10 to 11" tall, incredible shoot growth with very short growth in between nodes.

This is a Sunday update and finally had time to upload 100 pictures or so. I also got some killer video:

The ladies are about to come out of 36 hours solid darkness. They needed water and I feed then 1 mil of Bush Master, 4 drops Super Thrive and turned the lights off. I will be turning lights back on tonight at 7PM to start their 12/12 cycle with them going to sleep at 7 AM each morning. I took accurate measurements prior to turning lights off and look forward to seeing the results later tonight. I will post an update by 9PM EST tonight.

This manifold holds the water tubes that feed each container below. I simply place a large 1 quart funnel in the tubes end and pour the 1/2 gallon of water they take every 3 days. A real pain in the ass to try and do it by hand below. I learned from my first/last grow that any water that hits a leaf causes it to run anywhere but inside the pot. I set up a ring that wedges inside each pot and has 4 - 180 degree tips glued in and I get a great water distribution. I have a video showing the water and how it feeds into each plant.

The girls look great!:high-five:

One question though, if you are going to start flowering the girls, what is the screen for? I thought in a scrog you veg tell the screen is full then flower. Is the screen just to keep them short?
Thanks they do look sweet:thanks:....The scrog screen is there to allow me to now weave the lead buds under the scrog horizontally. What happen last time was while the lead stem slowed down just a tad as it adapts to the redirection, it allows the lower bud sites to "catch up" and get a full canopy....

Last night after a 36 hours of dark and a 1 mil feeding of Bush Master I started the 12/12 flowering light cycle and remembered to switch bulbs to 2700k. They are in the pre flower mode for sure. The 36 hours of dark to "Kick Start" them seemed to work compared to the plants that that are 2 weeks into flower.

I plan to feed ladies a no nutrient watering once they need it and then another Bush Master feeding of 1.5 to 2 mil per gal for a final attempt to minimize height growth and length of roots. I will say, the info I am reading on the use and purpose of Bush Master is different and there is no clear results and or propose of use. I was told to add BM if I was trying to do a small grow and limit my height. I was also told it helps with a healthy root system, by stopping the growth of roots in length and help to prevent root bound.

thats a nice scope, my collective garden has the EXACT same one and its real good at focusing. all crystals, hairs, and leafs are copmpletely in focus unlike my current score that only focuses on what evers in the middle of the lens no the sides.. hope it comes soon and we can get some pics of your plants

Hey Now 253chiefin, I got mine from my photography supplier for $62.00. I bought the Radio shack junk that was a waste of money. SO I took it back and got this jewel. Well worth the extra 42 bucks and I get so much more. I viewed images of Trichomes with red amber feeding up the stem and into the mushroom head...That is what I am looking for.. I also checked the stems from a dried bud and was covered in trichomes. Remember to save and toss your dried stem in a jar and use later for dry ice hash..

nice growing! :goodjob:
Hey Now SpiriTHC, thanks..I am looking forward to getting some bloom nutrients in these ladies and see what happens. I just finished my first grow with this strain and this second grow is going much different and should be a better experience.

I treated these plants with 1 ml of BushMaster 9 days ago and then again 2 days ago with a 2 ml per gallon mix. They showed no tip burn and so far have slowed down in height. They will get one light no nutrient watering and then the get a mixture of Pro Bloom, ST, & Molasses to get the flowering cycle going .

I love the results from my new digital microscope. The pictures are of a flowering plant 7 days on 12/12 and they fan leaves already have Trichome heads popping up everywhere...

If you look at the mushroom head you can see the eight LED bulb reflecting on the Trichome layer..I love technology...and I"m just a 49 year old stoner trying to keep up with the times.
