Its day 10 above ground for my girls and I've got tiny flying insects. They are on/in tha soil? From what Im reading these can be eradicated by sand/fly strips/ or a pesticide. A friend even said that he sat with his plants for a couple hours and hand mashed'em into oblivion. If these are correct let me know and if anyone has a tried and true solution it would be welcome.

sounds like fungus gnats. but cant be sure. for an organic aproach you could try and get some food grade diatomecious earth and dress the top of your soil. if it is gnats you need to get a fix quick before they dig into your stem and kill the plant.
