Cart's Official 2x2 And 2x4 Journal

I have not watered the plants in the 2x4 yet. Not dry. Still very much moist. But my plans were the same with those 2 girls as well.
So your not using nutrients???

Just stopped using anything but tap and superthrive. 2x2 was watered yesterday afternoon. Should I go back to feeding as of the next watering?

2x4 was not watered since the 18th.

Let me start from the very very beginning

I was watering these plants with a water ph of 4.4. Rain water. And this happened So I stopped that. Went to tap water only, and as of yesterday tap water and superthrive. My runoff ph is awful. Nothing changes that from what iv tried. But iv been ready to stop focusing on that. But idk. I’m a bit confused as to iv never not once had problems like this before. Usually very smooth sailing Only grows iv ever lost we’re to theft or law enforcement. Never bugs or bad habits. So I feel like a kid all over again trying to figure this out.
Im used to just simply buying decent soil. Some good amendments. And just tap water till finish. Adding topper ever now and again

I have fox farm grow big
Superthrive
a very mild dr earth 1-1-1
And Alaskan fish fert.

Nothing mixed in at the moment

Only tap and superthrive being used.

Tap reads 400 or more from the faucet
With a ph of 6.9. Dropped down to 6.3 yesterdays watering in the 2x2 like you said.

I don't think you could go wrong feeding her.
Unless you use LOS , living organic soil you will require nutrients to get a decent girl through harvest in good health. :Namaste:
I'd get the scheduled for your nutrients and start feeding as per weekly recommendations.
Seriously don't be guessing what's wrong and what's going to fix it.
You have decent soil beautiful ladies feed them properly and you will be rewarded.
Light ,environment ,strain and nutrition 4 major components of a healthy garden.
Get good at reading your ladies then you can adjust the nutrition to their specific needs :Namaste:
Hope I dont come across as grumpy I'm willing to support what ever method you like to grow.
What works is what's best for any grower.
Happy growing my friend.

So you think I should go back to the scheduled feed the bottle says (every other watering). General feed instruction. 2 teaspoons per gallon. Heavy would be 4.

How about my superthrive and fish emulsion? Cal mag? Any issue like that going on. And should I stop testing my run off ph? @Bill284 your not coming off grumpy. I’m just tryin to dial this in to avoid in future.

Yes use your nutrients as per the schedule at 6.3
Put your cal mag in your plain water first ,micro, grow bloom nutrients in that order, pH last to 6.3 then add superthrive. Order is important!!!!
Once they are healthy you only need a maintenance dose of superthrive.
Fish emulsion can certainly be used as directed also.
Potassium silicate .5 ml/l in plain water Once a week aswell.
There are lots of things to improve health of your ladies.
Try everyone you read about and like.
But get them eating properly and growing vigorously first.
Follow the recommendations of your nutrient company as close as you can.
Water Dry Feed Dry Water Dry Feed Dry ........proper nutrient and your going in the right direction.

2x2 update

Good morning 420! 2x2 this morning.
4x2 is in same boat. Just waiting for to be ready to water.

However I’m tryin out new things with my soil. So I’m sprouting a few of the 1000s of (cartel seeds I call em) seeds I have. Came from a different so cal high desert grows. Anyhow. Just running some tests before sprouting beans I buy.

Anyone have experience with earth juice grow and bloom? Good product? Seems very light on the nutrition. But less is more from what I understand

Also update on the 24hr weight difference in Killer og number 3. weighed at 7am each day.

2x2 and 4x2
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!

I’m having fun over here testing soil and getting ready for outdoors this year. Seeing what mix is best for starts before first transplant. Iv bought about 5 types of kinda pricy dirt for such small bags. Iv bought the following.
Dr earth seed and cutting mix with mykro
Jiffy seed and cutting mix
Miracle grow performance mix
blackbag
Whitney farms organic from nor cal
Better homes and garden container mix (HOT!)
Fox farm ocean floor and happy frog
Promix.

But the promix is actually my go to home soil. Our city supply A SHIT TON because of the cannabis grow boom here in the so cal desert.
Fox farms are great. But I can’t sprout seeds in it. To hot. Need to be toned down with seed start mix. Same for better homes and garden.

All the seeds I’m playing with are from numerous outdoor/indoor grows in the high desert. Most will be tossed. Looking for the right one. These seeds I have 1000s of mixed genetics. 10s of 1000s. if anyone wants some. Please ask. No cost. Just your friendship and good advise in return is needed. Anywho back on topic. We’ll see how they sprout and grow with no assistance for the first couple weeks. Then I can buy my next batch from ethos and Herbies and know what mix i wanna sprout my beans in. Plus I gotta get my veggies and peppers going indoors soon!!!

Weigh in photo as well. They’re drinking well. But. Not ready for water yet.
2x4 is a stand still until they’re dry. But nothing is spreading. But they’re hungry. So hopefully the next watering. Which will be food. Will help tons. Only time can tell. Something tells me better homes and garden soil I bought has issue beyond what nutrients were premixed.
Here’s the pic update.

Good morning my friend @CultivationArt hope your having a good day.
It sounds like you have quite the rocken outdoor garden.
Do you have any pics of last years?
I grew a 12' jher outside.
I'm hoping to do better this summer.
Do you have any problems with neighbors growing males ever?

Stay safe

I have so many pictures. Here’s just a few from last season.
No. No problems. I’m the only grower on the block for the moment. Outdoors at least. But I did have problems when I was a kid 10-15 years ago.

I hoping to grow much more organized and better timing. I had a early flower and reveg. Even tho all turned out great come October. Coulda been much better. I have a much better selection of strains this year. Looking fwd to it.

Good morning everyone!!
Hope the week starts well for all.

So today I had a bit a work. Just a bit. Everything was finally dry dry dry. Lower than I normally would allow. Got droopy. But that’s okay. I watered in 3 steps to the stuff I have. Thankyou bill for advise so far. Much appreciated.
I added fresh soil to the top before watering as well. Roots were a bit exposed. Should help with feed as well.

Now they have food and watered with good water. According to science. Everything should be fine.

And 1 amnesia clone has rooted nice. Transplanted into 1 gal.

Good morning 420! Hope that Monday was good now it’s over.

2x2 looks happy. Well fed and watered made a huge difference in the ‘happiness’ in the plant. I can feel the positive energy. Clones rooting. Everything seems to be back on track. Thankfully clones do not share the malnutrition the parents received. They seem very happy. 2x4 is correcting little by little. It took 6 days to dry those 1gal containers. So assuming we were having root problems as well. Hopefully the superthrive and back on scheduled feed and corrected ph will bounce everything back. Not showing much yet tho. Not in the 2x4 anyhow. Or my eyes are just not seeing it yet.

Good morning everyone!!! Happy hump day!
Seems every thing is still smooth. Plants drinking well. Pots are losing around 100-200 grams of water weight per 24hr. Which is a much better rate than 2-3 weeks ago.

All clones are rooted and transplanted.
And look good. Couple weeks theyll be super explosive. Come end of may early
June. I’ll have a solid selection of cultivars to pick for outside. So far. Garlic, amnesia, and killer og, I plan running outside this year. Along with grandpas stash by ethos and crescendo.

Pics are updates of both tents. Starting to see improvements in 2x4. Pics show new growth look rather promising.
Then rest are update of the following described above. (Clones, and 2x2).

Small update. Not much to show.
Gonna have to increase the feed on the ak og 1 and 3. They are very hungry feeders. Which annoys me. Because I can’t use the same solutions on everything now. Whatever. Anything to keep my girls happy until transplant day.
Gonna head to grow store and get some earth juice a and b. Or grow and bloom. Seems a lot of people swear by their schedule. And it’s consistent.

Good morning and happy February!!
Before you know it, it will be new years 2023.

2x2
Looks good. Ak og3 got watered today along with garlic.
I think the hippy might be an auto?

2x4
Recovery still looking good! I’d say recovered. But I don’t remove leaves with green on it still. Still looks kinda bad still. But trust me. New growth is promising. Clones wonderful. Did some training on the amnesia cut this morning
