Clones are easy?

Im new to growing, started my first grow around 7 weeks ago. I read a lot online about how hard it is to clone, how you need root hormone and humidity and all these perfect conditions. so i got curious a couple weeks ago and took 3 cuttings, not having root hormone or anything other than the normal soil i use (mg moisture control), and some 3 inch pots. So i take a little 2 sq foot box i have cut out one side, line the inside with tin foil, and cut a hole in the top for a light. I take the cuttings, push them down in the soil, and put them in the box. Just one 23 watt cfl for light. Looked this morning, tons of roots on all 3, easiest thing ive ever done. watered twice through the whole process, much less work than germanting from seed.

right around 8 days, nice roots too, never thought it could be this simple.

i just took a few clones today, they were in their 3rd week of flowering or so... hopefully they take so i can have more 'babies'

You said your new to growing so I have to ask if you had any idea of the sex of the 7 week old plant you cloned from... and the use of rooting hormone is not a "must" it just increases the odds of successful rooting.
