First time indoor grow, done outdoors before. Strain seeds: Big Kahuna 80/20 Indica. Girls are 5 days old here, light two 32 watt t8 HO 6500k bulbs. Girls are planted in coco 24 hour light(pic is foggy due to spraying lid of propagator) I will be flowering under a digital 600 watt HPS.I was considering buying a mh bulb to vegg under instead of t8? Feedback appreciated also when to start nutrients when planted in coco? I will be using Botanicare products, the girls are 5 days old in pic.

They look a little stretched so i would say move the light closer other then that they look good. good vibes your way

When you transplant them bury the steams down in you coco , as you know they are over stretching from lack of light.

A 600W veg bulb would be nice but is overkill for a couple of plants when they are just starting off, Not to mention 98% of the light will be wasted for the first month or more. Your T-8s will be plenty until they are a lot bigger. Just keep the lights as close as you can like 2" above the tops. I do my vegging under CFLs for at least the first 5 or 6 weeks then they get my 12 year old, 400W EYE Hortilux conversion bulb to veg with until flipping time. Then I may need more light so I will add a 400 hps to go with it until stretch is over then replace the EYE with an hps flowering bulb.

If an oscillating fan isn't moving your seedlings around enough to make the stems stronger then you can flick them around with a finger tip to toughen them up. I beat the crap out of mine if they start reaching too much. It looks a bit weird when they are so small but when they are a foot tall it won't matter at all. In fact it will help by keeping the lower growth from being so low to the dirt and allow better air flow.

If the coco is basically a soilless medium then 1/10th strength nutes would be good anytime. Give them something to grow with.

Day 7: Getting ready to hit the hydro store to buy food and set up tent tomorrow removed propagator cover and dropped light to 2" above plants. Girls look good!

I gave them their first nutrients yesterday as they are baby girls I only gave them one mil of Botanicare base and one mil of the Botanicare grow. That was last night this morning they just don't seem as happy they're not wilted but just not quite as happy also my wife dropped the AC in the house to 75 down from the 81 they were used to could they be in shock?

One of them has white splotches on the leaves and it has been struggling along....looks like a fungus of some sort....not fuzzy smooth but definitely white and growing

Ok finally I got all my equipment for the grow tent and light and I have moved the seedlings out of the closet I am using the bulb in the picture however I have dimmed my ballast to 400 watts.
I have a temperature and humidity probe connected to a digital readout that is sitting on the seedling tray so I have accurate information. It looks like I have 3 healthy plants and then to that I might have to cull today.

Again these are Big Kahuna strain plants from seed.....they are seeds from a line of plants that my family uses in a huge commercial grow THC over 26% on average consistently.

Wow! One day under the MH bulb switching from the the t8 and they are exploding in growth they each grew another set of leaves! Fighting heat, have to wire in my fan today. QUESTION: I have a hydrofarm 4" fan that puts out 165cfm, my tent is a grow lab 48x48x72 I am running a 600 watts HPS/mh will the fan be enough?
