i should have specified that I was wondering about topical application, not smoking.

i do not think so.I use my trimmed leaves for what my ol' lady calls a mexican remedy. She had me mix it with 91% alchohol in the bottle to make some kinda rubbin thang fer her mom's arthritus and swollen feet from her diabetes. her momma claims that i must have some strong shit cause when she puts that on her she feels no pain in her joints and her feet stop the swelling it must relax the blood vessels or sumthing. They say it work i never tried it yet.
