So, when do you all think I should start to harvest? :yummy:

How many days since flip and do you have a loupe or magnifying glass? You really need to be checking the trichomes on the buds (rather than the sugar leaves).
I flipped on 5/17 (8 wks tomorrow). I don’t have a loupe but I have a magnifying glass on my iPhone (12 pro max) that I downloaded. What you think about that? Think it’s ok?

So…THIS happened :rip::oops::nervous-guy:My hubby knocked over one of the lamps and it broke this branch off! Am I ruined?! Is my girl dead now?! Soooo close to the finish line - WITHOUT any REAL issues…then THID happens! He didn’t tell me so I was initially blaming our kids! lol

Thanks for the quick response love. It looks a hot mess (lol) but we shall see! #FingersCrossed
There is a very small connection to the plant still, but it looks almost entirely the outer skin. Tape it back together as perfectly as you can and support it against the main trunk so the connection is secure. Then wait and see what happens to the branch

So are these pics better?? Is it easier to tell what the trics are looking like? I think it’s time to start harvest but I’m no expert! What do y’all think?!

Digital zooming isn't very effective at distinguishing cloudy from clear, which is why most growers either use a loupe or a USB microscope (they've gotten really cheap on Amazon).

Also, the sugar leaves get trimmed away, so we don't use those as a gauge for trichome ripenesss.

Either way, still not seeing anything that looks like amber in there!

Thanks for the reply love. I’m gonna end up just buying one. I found a “simple loupe” app that I thought I’d try. It was free so no $$ lost:)

So what do you all think THIS is about?! The first “bad” pics are from one plant; the other pic is of the 2nd girl - no issues! It’s almost time for harvest! I don’t want ANY issues!! ¡HELP! :nervous-guy:

If they're both being fed the same nutes than it looks like something at the root level, like a pH issue or rot/gnats/fungus. How close to harvest are you?

Only thing on the nute side might be a phosphorus (K) toxicity. I don't recall what you've been using for nutes, but if it's high in K that might be an issue. Doesn't explain the difference if they're both the same variety though...

Think it could be from when my “dear ole hubby” broke my girls branch?
