This may sound really noobish, but what method would one employ to germinate seeds that never go into any medium? My intended route would be to germinate a seed such that the resultant seedling can be put into an EZ-Cloner held in place only by a neoprene disc. Then once roots begin to form, into the aero system for veg and flower. All the methods I read about for seed germination seem to involve some variety of medium at some point i.e. rockwool, coco coir, perlite, soil and so on. I need a medium-less germination process, any help for this noob would be greatly appreciated since I never use any medium but neoprene at any step along the way.
