Harvest now or wait?

My first time growing indoors a Barney’s Farm Critical Kush (indica) she’s just under 5 weeks in flower I feel she still got around 3 weeks to go, she’s under Mars-hydro fc-e6500 led, tricomes are clear with a cpl amber here and there, should I start flushing for two weeks then harvest or shall I wait for another week or two to start flushing? Any recommendations much appreciated….. thanks

Look with a glass look at the trichomes at ends will be little balls. And amber color. Most folks wait till they see 80-90 percent ambers. But anywhere between 75-100 u can harvest and have a good effect u looking for. Jewelers mag or something to look close

Agreed, you’ve got some time to go, too many white pistils. Use the jewelers loop, if you want an energetic high the trichromes should be cloudy, the more amber the more you tend towards “couch lock”.

Beautiful garden , welcome to 420magazine.
As @7Dust2 mentioned you have weeks left.
You have to wait until all the white pistols are gone.
When they crinkle in and turn red they are finished flowering and building for you.
Then check tric's.

Thank you every one who has replied to my question I’ll let her carry on for a few more weeks and I’ll put up cpl more pix then cheers guys happy growing

looks can be deceiving better to look under a scope and check the trichomes. These look done but under the scope they have another week until they reach where I like it which is 100% milky with 10% amber. At 100% milky they reach full THC level while growing and increase to about 6 months in curing.

About two to 3 weeks if only 10%

You have weeks, maybe 4 from last Sunday. There are tons of white pistils, you want MOST (90%or more)of them to turn color and as the flowers ripen the calyxes will swell and seem to swallow those pistils. Here is a pic of my plant right at 7 weeks. Swelling has started—you see more bud than pistils—and this one has at least 3 weeks. A loop to study the trichomes is fun but if being used to determine harvest time wait till the buds appear ripe.
