Dec 15, 2009 #2 W Weed420 New Member A general rule of thumb for 1000w is 50 sq.ft. per lamp. Depending on size of plants you can put about 15 plants in that area.

Dec 15, 2009 #3 S Screwnuts33 Member of the Month 3rd Place Winner (Dec 09') Having had 16 5-gallon buckets in 32sqft I can say that is way too crowded. Realistically I should have had at least double that space.
