How to grow your seedlings with hydro?

I've been doing tons of research and i know basically everything i can about dwc, besides what hands on experience will give me. I know what to start my germinated seeds in, but i dont know how the little root sprout gets water and nutrients. How do i support it so it can get its roots down into the bucket. Or do you not start them in the bucket? This is my only gray area left

What I do

Germ the seeds, water then paper towels method
Then into Root Riot cubes, I don't like rockwool can drown yer kiddos
I use a clone dome with the tray for cubes

Once they are working on 2nd set of leaves, and roots popping thru the cube, into the 3" net pot they go

Layer of hydrotron then cube, then fill net pot with hydrotron

Easy peasy

1st week or untill good roots hit yer water in the DWC keep the water just below the net pot
Once roots get rolling drop the water 2" below the pot, bubbles will keep them wet
