HPS/MH Problems Help Needed ASAP!

Hi fellow growers I just put my closet together and tested it yesterday , it worked good, both with HPS bulb and MH bulb.. But this morning i cant get the MH bulb to turn on ?! :S My ballast only "clicks clicks clicks " but nothing happening whit the bulb.. ? It was working the day before?

This is the ballast brand : 400 W VSG HPS Vossloh , the HPS bulb works fine

WHAT TO DO!? :S I already planted so i need that light ASAP!!!

is it normal to hear a clicking ifnot tha soundlike you have a component in your ballast. Not oo experienced with them yet but I worked a little around electronics all my life. If it as a fuse look to see if it shorted. Also make sure you have enough power ifyouhave a ohms meter its easy if not then go buy a cheap one and look up a youtube vid on how to check ac/dc using ohms meter. hopeit helps

Problem solved ! It was the socket in the cooltube that didn't connect properly to the bulb. Quick fix and now it works, just in time to give my babys the first light of their lifes

Thats a reasonable common problem with reflectors & very easy to sort out

I contacted the dealer and he told me the same thing
